A few moments after our family SYNC session...It's always amazing to us how, when the kids "seem" to be having a hard time from some life transition, you can clear the parents. And the kids are just fine...
It's just as true for our family as any CI members. If one is hyperactive, or addicted to sugar, or having trouble socializing, or staying on track with something important, we can clear them, sure. But just as often as not, if the parents are cleared first, the child's issue tends to dissolve.
This isn't the case for children with long-term special needs, obviously. In that case, it depends on the family. We have a few high-functioning autistic children who love their personal Skype sessions with a parent close by. And a few other parents of autistic children who get the most from managing their own relationship to their child's needs and communications.
Regardless of the family set up, it's such gift to have a fresh start, to check in with our bodies, hearts and minds for the next best shift towards ease and workability. Here, we celebrate at the beach.
